HackerNews is a mixed audience (aspiring and current startup people, corporate workers, angels/vcs, etc) with an entrepreneurial hacker slant. I’ve been wondering if there is an equivalent site/forum with a marketing/branding/operations slant.

uhh from what I remember when I did online affiliate marketing back in the mid 2000s, the best forum was wickedfire.com, not sure if that's still the case but I'd check there and see if it's still active. Lots of black/grey hat marketing techniques used to be shared, which are useful to learn even if you plan on using only whitehat techniques (aka shit that can get you banned from adwords vs marketing techniques you'd use at a corporation).
