I watched Betas on Amazon and hated it. I love Silicon Valley on HBO. I'm trying to decide what the differences are because they have very similar storyline, characters/stereotypes. Silicon Valley just feels a little closer (though still exaggerated) to real ... maybe?

I agree! The guy who speaks about Aviato all the time reminds me of a friend, who speaks of his startup in the same exact way. It's hilarious.
