Questions

I recently tossed a resume after I looked the applicant up on Twitter and found they were a douche.

I’ve done the same in the past with the neo-feminists.

Is that allowed these days?

I don't know if it's legal but you certainly don't have to tell anyone. Plenty of homophobic people have not hired gays but gave other excuses. Plenty of racists have not hired people of another race and gave a different excuse.

You'd be an idiot to discriminate and then tell that person the real reason why you're not hiring them. Just say something like, "There were more qualified applicants, but we appreciate your time!"

You hire the way you want. You treat people the way they deserve. And almost everyone deserves to be treated well.
