My two co-founders are trying to push me out

We’ve been building this startup for the past two years. We’re bootstrapped and everything was built with our own money and re-invested profits.

Life was difficult and for the better half of this year we’ve had many arguments and differences of opinion, but ultimately always moved forward.

Now they’re offering a share buyout and bonus for my third of the company because they want to invest more personal funds in the company, while I cannot. The plan was to go for investors.

There is no shareholder agreement at the moment and the company is governed by the standard articles of association of the UK government.

Is there any way I can defend myself against this? It feels like such a betrayal I’m even considering using everything in my power to kill the company.

Partnerships don’t always work out. The question is whether they are lowballing you or not.
