Should you mentioned that you are a (female or male) startup founder on your app dating profiles?

Someone recently asked about dating as a founder so I wanted to ask: What do other founders think about mentioning being a startup founder (whether female or male) on dating profiles?

I notice men and women proudly mention they are a lawyers, doctors, etc. but with startup founders people have preconcieved notions before getting to know you. For instance: 1) Female founders might be wrongly percieved as very bossy, having no femininity, and having no time. 2) Male founders might be wrongly percieved as being bros, being very pompous, and having no time.

So is mentioning it on a profile a good way to weed/filter the wrong people out? Or even though you are proud of it, have you found it is best left to only mention once you start hitting it off over messages with someone, so people don't jump to conclusions and write you off before ever getting to that point?

This is a hard one, I'm not sure...startup founder, but got married before the rise of dating apps.

Fuck yeah; find some like-minded people.

Or go to networking events instead of the using an app, maybe meet someone organically.

You absolutely should not and you shouldn't even be on there. How do you have time to date and start up?
