Killer domain… almost 2,000 orders in 6 months…. So Cal action sports site….. how the heck do I find someone to invest?

Is it an online store right now? Or do you mean you're getting traffic? Approach people - seriously, if you want an investor start telling people about the website. If you've got a vision then passion may draw someone to come on board. Else, ask for advise regarding the opportunity to grow the website.

Go to meetup events - do not go looking for investors. Simply go there and introduce yourself as someone who is in an attractive market. Investors will come talking to you.

By the way curious - was your domain the only reason for growth, or did you something about it?
