How do you feel about the “Ask an Expert” series on SA?

We've received feedback that posting all the expert Q&A's in the main feed felt spammy, so we restricted them to a separate feed. But, this is still a work in progress. Our #1 goal is to bring you more value, to give you access to people you may otherwise not have access to. More importantly, allow you to ask questions that you may not normally ask in public.

With that in mind, here are my questions:

1. Is this of value to you?

2. What can we do to improve the series?

3. Who would you like to see participate?

Really appreciate your support and feedback.

1) No

2) Leave it as clickable tab on left but please REMOVE the header + pic at top page. It gives the impression that this is an "ask the expert" site and that the owner of the site is the "expert" pictured. Especially when the "expert" pictured is someone you couldn't care less for. I don't come here for any "expert", I come here for rants/questions by other founders. Besides, why would you let your branding's first impact accrue to someone else? If you must keep this feature, also change the name, otherwise you're perpetuating some of the problem. WHO is an expert in a world where everybody is literally making shit up as they go? Nobody. Serial operators know that when they did X, the conditions were Y, and doing X again (or new stuff) now that conditions are Z means they're still winging it.

3) More founders/entrepreneurs from various sectors.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Not good, because you are filtering out many questions.

I'd like to have more experts chime in on a topic but I don't like that it floods my feed.

This isn't really interesting to me. Guys like Hiten are great but there's nothing unique about it being here.

I come here to see the real deal, and once you put your name to this kind of content, it's going to be more filtered, less unguarded.

I just want anonymous confessions. If he wants to chime in as an expert fine but it doesn't cater to my personal interests at least.
