Does Google’s new modified search algorithm blow?

As a bootstrapping startup founder in building phase, I use Google a lot for research & searches in general. So as of a few days ago, the search results are pulling about 30% related to what I ask. It’s scary. Like what life was like before there was a decent search engine but worse. Now we know better. Anyone else experiencing this? The stuff I’m looking for is like 4 or 5 pages in now if at all.
