Simple, just write him thanking him for the follow and ask how you can (or might) add value to his network/investments/etc. You'll never know if you don't ask and don't be afraid because they have a big title -- they are just people too trying to continually improve their business and their contacts.

When someone follow you, he's like a user who subscribes to your newsletter : he wants more.
So don't hesitate.
