In most cases when an acquirer is looking at a company there’s still some if not a lot of overlap in terms of the technology that they have already in house. Sometimes acquisitions for technology are done for upgrading, but in the case where discrete pieces are just redundant, what is the best way to get at what an acquirer already has in their stack?
