Continuing Start-up with (future) Husband & Wife

this question is hard.
never ask anyone for direction.
if u go with advice of people, like me, to a direction, no matter what direction, things eventually will become difficult. then u will start thinking maybe u made a mistake. so always do ur best to choose ur direction urself.
being said that ur intuition may be right.
i'm so very much against of when startup co-founders are "in relationship". simple: work is work, home is home. friends are friends. startupers are startupers. co-founders are co-founders. co-founders are not supposed to be "***uckers", "lovers", ...,
To me , the success rate is already low. let alone in such cases...
Bottom line "Pick the direction urself and that is the most probable best direction. even if things go to south dakota".

I was one of the two people in the relationship in our startup and it worked out just fine.

It all comes down to trust and the dynamics of the team.

If you feel one of the persons in the relationship would side with the other on any matter, simply because of the relationship, then, definitely, run.

However, it takes cool heads/personalities in the first place to be able to sustain a healthy romantic relationship that is subject to the stresses of a startup. This means that the odds of these 2 people being cool headed and reasonable is higher.
