- 24/7 access to a co-working space
- free housing (if you’re from a different city)
- in-house design and development resources
How common are each of the following accelerator perks?

I have worked out of two accelerators; neither had any of these
The first is common. The second I haven't heard of, but I'd move to Iraq for free housing! The third - there are companies that provide this and accelorators constantly miss out on opportunities by not doing this. Sure, there's value in building your own team, but Y combinator proves it's much more effective to build super teams.
The main benefit of accelerators are easy access to potential customers and follow on investors. Good accelerators often have connections to graduated startups who then will allow you to use them as test customers for traction/feedback.
Free housing is a huge win if the city in question is expensive, like SF.
In house resources: on the one hand, something is better than nothing. On the other hand, is something good enough, or do you need the best?
Co-working space. Meh. Can be great if you need connections, but aren't we living in the internet era? Connections are good usually because they are a way to find talent - that's pretty much right out in an accelerator. Connections are also good because they provide a sounding board - this is valuable. An accelerator isn't the only way to build these though - you're far better off going to segment related events.
This is the only benefit imho: "The main benefit of accelerators are easy access to potential customers and follow on investors." ... everything else you can do it yourself.
Right... Screw that! If I don't have to worry about my personal operating expenses, my full attention is focused on driving the business forward. People who work part time elsewhere or full time jobs are running two companies whether they see that or not.
