Does anyone ever feel isolated and that for all the work you’ve put in, you’ve actually done nothing because the company is still pre-revenue? Also communicating everything that goes into what you have to do to raise a $3MM seed round just to launch is difficult to put simply, while frequently living on the edge of homelessness and starvation?

Homeless and starvation not, replace with losing house, yes.
You have not achieved nothing because you are pre revenue. That is only one thing Among many other things.
I am in the same situation currently. I have to put the startup on hold in order to gain more confidence in myself and some freelance work to survive.

At least we're not alone. Isolated by our endeavors in our environments, we have this community though, which is nice.
We've all been there :-)
Hard work. Starvation. Harder work. Slow results.
But those slow results and the things you learned are hundredfold what you would have done with a normal job !
You're not alone my friend !
There and got tired of expecting others to help so I did what any person capable of selling did. I walked away to build something simple people can understand and will earn my $3m that way. Sometimes you have to realize that people don't know you're capable until you show them. It's not your responsibility to enrich them. Only your customer and your team. With that said, if they aren't willing to assume the risk, why are they there anyway?
What type of startup? Please tell me anything but software. You can launch software sooooooo cheap these days, most companies should need between 0 and 250K tops.
250k is still alot of money - depending on what currency of course. But yeah $3M does sound like are not going the route of first making a Minimum Viable Product that gives a bit of income, and then building it up incrementally.

The Startup will ask you to take off your helmet
Your vision will narrow, you must see far

Yeah, in the minds of many people (right or wrong you can choose for yourself) , a job is something that pays money, so until a business is paying the owner a salary, it is just a hobby that they are hoping to make money out of.
