Should I accept a good offer to continue developing in professional career path or take on a startup?

I have left a well-paying job at my old company though I had to take too much overtime. I am pursuing a big dream in a fintech startup and starting to plan a small startup with a childhood friend in the investment industry before going to the bigger one. I also came up with another business that distributes ceramics and pottery to feed my everyday life, instead of a day job.

But, I have received a little better offer yesterday and I am being swarmed in hesitancies if I should accept it. I don’t think this job will help me better my skills or any another purpose. It might solve my overtime problem and a little bit higher salary perhaps.

Any advice for me?

Where do you want to go in life? What will make you happy and fulfilled? Go that direction.

There's only two things: win or perish. Don't wait, just get started, continue, don't stop.

I wish a lot of people coming here and moaning would realize what you just wrote : win or perish.

If it's affecting your health. Also. Move on.

It's really not that complicated. It's not for you.

Go for it. I learned more doing this then any school or career path. I would say my 2+ years doing my own venture qualifies me for just about any Director / SVP job should I need to go back and work for someone else. Granted the pay sucks but the investment in knowledge is well worth it.
