Sometimes I just wanna quit and go back to corporate. Being a CEO is fucking hard. I’ve even toyed reaching out to potential buyers for the company since we have really interesting technology and traction. Then I remember I hate corporate life. FML

Selling your company to a corporation does not mea you'd have to work there. You could the. Start something else

I bet you don't really have traction.

I bet you never started a startup.

Something as simple as a yard sale can have something interesting and have 'traction' of activity.

Sounds like you may have not had or lost sight of the solution your product provides and your passion behind it. If you just got in it for money, you should leave. If you truly are passionate about it, then remember why you started it in the first place. Reboot & refresh.

I feel for you. Been on the both sides, not CEO tough.

The key is to surround yourself with like minded people who will give you support and with experienced people who are able to lead.

Be on the same page with your startup colleagues/employees/co-founders....

CEO is the most simple job in the world!
thats the reason you cant do it.
A 3rd grade adult can do it.
here is to make it simple.
start to live simple
toss your cell phone
live in a simple empty room
go to places when there is no-one
remove any distraction
if something is not doable, maybe its not time for potential buyers ... maybe that means you should not do it.
maybe you think you have good traction..
maybe you do a lot you dont think enough.
push hard work hard, live simple, live simple, live simple :)
sometimes drink whiskey with ice, sometimes without ice :)
cheers

I had the same the feeling for a year or so. Suddenly the product was finally market ready and we started selling.

Same spot, interesting technology. But can you even sell technology? It seems it will be biting dust
