After running my business for 6 yrs, it took exactly 10 days of a job to quit and realize I’m going back to being an entrepreneur. It’s a bit scary. But, I have a roof over my head and food on the table. I have savings and I’ll freelance .

Why made you decide to take a job in the first place?

I had to close down business as i wasn't able to make ends meet. My dad passes. I had to pay off loans.. Anyway it was a blessing !

I have a full-time job, but spend nearly 100% of company-time working on my startup. My startup was covered by Ad Age, which my boss receives. He was in a meeting when the article hit, so I went into his email and deleted it.

Have worked for 4 startups that all crashed and burned for unrelated reasons not having to do with me. I now consult for cash only, and I can’t imagine working as an employee again. I’m happier and richer. Am I alone?
