I’ve been a startup exec for 10+ years, on my 9th, and I can emphatically say I have absolutely no idea what a startup CEO actually f’ing does.

CEO - marketing, sales, legal, finance, operations, & strategy. In a startup, everything that needs to be done until someone else is paid to do it.

You let them guide the vision for the company. You support them in growing the revenues or whatever their objective is. It may be market share, brand awareness, or whatever they were put there to do.
