I’ve finally realized that when something doesn’t interest me, I’m lazy as hell. When it’s something that I care about, I have the energy of 20 people. This is the reason I’m an entrepreneur.

This is exactly how i feel too. +1
Yes, I agree but sometimes I can overdo things I like and under do (or at least totally procrastinate) on things that I don't like doing. Sometimes I think a healthy detachment is good. Isn't there a saying as well, that when you become a CEO you have to hand over to other people the task of doing things you like (at least in part).
I'm this way as well. The problem though is that a lot of work that we have to do as startup founders is boring work; like for instance the legal matters, hiring, and also the taxation stuff.
If I could only work on the core product then every day would be totally exciting but that's not the case. I find myself having to do more and more of the management stuff.
I won't hire on someone to take those duties though as I'm too early stage at the moment to afford that.

I am like the OP as well. However, being a founder I discovered I really enjoy dealing with legal matters, taxation, etc. I learnt a lot and became quite fond of it.

To make it entertaining I take a "bring order to chaos" approach, much like the Borg queen, and it works.

There are so many moments where I'd rather be doing something else, but my responsibilities and long term goals are important enough to deal with the bullshit at hand and endure.
I learned that I will not be able to always control the work that must be done. If it must be done and I'm the only one who can do it, it doesn't matter what I'd prefer to be working on -- I will endure and work through it. Although it feels like trudging uphill through deep snow, digging deep and focusing on work that doesn't interest me helps me develop mental endurance and hone my discipline skills.
Yup this exactly. This is a very common theme in Biz's book as well.
It may sound strange, but this kind of things is the very reason I started my own company. I love all the administrative, taxing, lawyering stuff. Don't get me wrong, I like the product we have created, and the challenges involved in making it take off, but the whole management job is also fascinating to me.
You would be the perfect partner for someone like me then. I'd let you handle all the administrative and legal stuff and I'd focus on the product, as that's my true passion.
You'd be the Tim Cook to my Steve Jobs. But, alas I'm stuck doing everything since I'm at the beginning stages right now. Good luck to you on your journey!
