I’m totally done with startup office politics. If I’m going to deal with this crap, I can get it in working corporate-ass Enterprise jobs where I get paid what I’m worth and the company actually earns money.

I lot of people start their own business because they're sick of corporate office politics. You've got it the other way... lol

Human beings are emotional creatures, so sadly in a start-up there is often a huge amount of politics. This politics is also driven by a lethal cocktail of arrogance and anxiety. The key is to be constructive in what you do and be aware when you might be contributing to the in-fighting and counter-productive power games.
