I’m starting a payments startup and in the interest of remaining Lean, I’m violating Visa regulations that prevent me from accepting more than one customer on a single merchant account. That’s cool right, if it’s just a short-lived MVP?

Is this "Visa policy" federally or state regulated? Are there actual laws being broken or just business policy?

It's just their business policy. Worst case is they blacklist the company,.

Basically find out what the penalties are. If the penalty is you go to jail - I wouldn't do it. If the penalty is suspension/blacklist/monetary (and you're an LLC), you do the calculation and make the decision.

I have a full-time job, but spend nearly 100% of company-time working on my startup. My startup was covered by Ad Age, which my boss receives. He was in a meeting when the article hit, so I went into his email and deleted it.

I am a sole non-technical female founder. I could be shitting rainbows and unicorns out my ass (which I do, daily) and investors still won’t touch me with a stick. I know for a fact if I were two dudes I’d be fully funded by now.

I am a woman CEO and hooked up with a guy the first night we met- he wants to join my company but I just can’t get over the way we met.

Have worked for 4 startups that all crashed and burned for unrelated reasons not having to do with me. I now consult for cash only, and I can’t imagine working as an employee again. I’m happier and richer. Am I alone?
