I like to “google” my customers, I had a customer on Friday that is an attorney and for some reason I am freaked out by it. We are a small bootstrapped startup that has had a lot of ups and downs but puzzle pieces are finally starting to fit.

Why would you be "freaked out" by a customer who is an attorney? Unless you have screwed over some people like a co-founder or investor I don't see any reason to be paranoid.

Attorneys are just people too. We aren't necessarily any more litigious than anyone else. I'm one, and the last thing I want to do is go to court on personal business. Attorneys can be awesome resources for referrals and legal help. You should make an effort to be friendly.

I have a full-time job, but spend nearly 100% of company-time working on my startup. My startup was covered by Ad Age, which my boss receives. He was in a meeting when the article hit, so I went into his email and deleted it.

I am a sole non-technical female founder. I could be shitting rainbows and unicorns out my ass (which I do, daily) and investors still won’t touch me with a stick. I know for a fact if I were two dudes I’d be fully funded by now.

I am a woman CEO and hooked up with a guy the first night we met- he wants to join my company but I just can’t get over the way we met.

Have worked for 4 startups that all crashed and burned for unrelated reasons not having to do with me. I now consult for cash only, and I can’t imagine working as an employee again. I’m happier and richer. Am I alone?
