I just got my round of funding and I am more terrified now that I have ever been. The expectations and risk of failure scares the shit out of me, but at the same time I can’t wait to see what happens.

Congratulations. Most of us are trying to get where you're at, so you're already ahead of a lot of us. I understand your concerns though, as now you're playing with someone else's money, which means that there's more pressure on you to perform well.

Good luck!

Congrats and don't panic! Keep calm.. Deep breath in and out.. With a clear mind, make a realistic action plan, delegate stuff that you can.. course correct when you have you, with a beautiful vision at the horizon.

Sounds like a good recipe for success -- fear, eagerness, money, and ambition!

However, remember that a dollar spent is a dollar that must be earned -- so don't let your excitement trap you into overspending.

And two, stay the course unless proven otherwise. Funding does not mean that you now have to go into 5 new directions. Stay excited, but concentrate.
