I just found out I’m pregnant. I want to sell my company STAT. It’s slightly profitable and a strong brand. But it’s loaded with debt and I had to lay everyone off two years ago. I’m miserable & need to get un-broke. How the hell do you find a buyer?

Keep on working on your company. There are multiple companies with pregnant founders who later gave birth. You can do it!

I sold my last company through a business broker. He charged 10% but he got me a higher price than I could have gotten and he walked us through all the legal steps to make it happen. I couldn't have done it without him and my lawyer. He is based in San Francisco with a company called Business Team.

Good luck.

Hey there, I'm a woman. Totally respect if you want to get something more stable, but please consider continuing. I have a friend who just had a baby and is running a company (took a bit of a break). She seems happy. Just don't want you to make a rush decision that would potentially be giving up an even better life for you and your child.

I don't think anyone in their right mind will buy a company with debt unless there's an opportunity somewhere
