You've got a great product. So what about revenue?

AAnonymous· Feb 10, 2015

Zero revenue because we need a healthy Angel round to get off the ground. See: https://startupsanonymous.com/question/bootstrapped-startup-needs-400k-move-forward-now

If you're the poster asking for a $400k Angel round then the advice in that thread applies.

Why is moving to SF not an option?

AAnonymous· Feb 14, 2015

$116M is not a big market for a VC. You should really consider how you can bootstrap.

No, not $116M as in dollars. It's 116M in customer base. The market itself is $70B.

Whenever I see a gigantic number like $70B, I roll my eyes.

What it tells me is - unless you're literally making gold from crap - you haven't done your market research.

$70B - which is assuredly a gigantic, top level market domain, is never addressable even by the absolutely largest multinationals. What is the actual demographic you serve? What is the actual need you fulfill, and the types of people or businesses that would pay you for that fulfillment? I guarantee it ain't $70B.
