I get ZERO satisfaction when I cross a major milestone off the list

Yes-- not much happiness in store, but I'm not aspiring for that. I'd rather flourish and be well than be happy.

Maybe you are just tired? Perhaps take a break, and get some perspective.

I get no satisfaction from doing taxes, or payroll, or telling an employee to show up to a meeting on time. But they are necessary, and I'd have less satisfaction if i didn't do those things and my business started failing.

Then find out what does give you satisfaction and do that instead.

If you have patience, read the book <code>Flow</code> of Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. It`s gonna make you better understand this question. And maybe, be happier.
