We had a falling out with our partner because they are toxic to our customers and are control freaks. We are looking for a silent investor, otherwise we will sadly have to dissolve a great organic Juice bar in Southern California

Control freak like they insisted on following health codes?

Is a taco truck a startup now, too? How is a juice bar a startup - rather than a business? Where's the experiment?

LOL! I thought the same thing.

Oh, so your pet small business is a "startup" now? Give me a break. You run a small business, you're a 'small business entrepeneur', the only difference between you and the schmuck running the juice bar is that you kowtow to the investment banking world's third-string players so you can get a pathetically small capital infusion.

Aside from all the snarky responses the issue is relevant. Can this partner play a back of the house role? If they're not good with customers can they just not have to deal with them? I don't see a need to shutter.

I've got an 80's themed fair-trade organic veggie-burger stand startup. Who wants 10% for 100k?

The dissolving of an Organic Juice Bar in Southern California is the best news I've heard all day
