Personally, I think that your complain is rationalized BS. If you have that good of a product (not a plan, any idiot can make one // on a side note, any idiot can make a product, but not necessarily a good one), you should be able to raise money. Perhaps, instead of blaming VCs or other investors and looking outwards for the problem, you should look inwards.
Or maybe silicon valley isn't a goddamned meritocracy, and VCs just want to fund younger versions of themselves.
Let's see your product then... I'm sure you wont post it, relying on some bs excuse about your privacy. If you suck, you suck. No matter if you are black or white, male or female. Sucking is not exclusive to color/sex.
Hustle and stop complaining, that attitude is also why you won't get funded. Even if you don't say it explicitly, you are permeated with an aura of being defensive and feeling entitled that you should get funded because you are a woman. Don't take it on others, playing the blame game on SV or on "white males".

No. Traveling to and being of are two different experiences. If they weren't, this country wouldn't have so many successful immigrants. Pull your head out of your ass. Whoever funds you, hope they know they are finding someone who won't be able to serve the American people because we see how they really feel about the plight of minorities and women.

How many polished products demos you had though? Read some stories about Maxis - the original Sim City. The guy took it to 10 publishers and the last one signed him on. The deals are atrocious when youre in a vulnerable position. Sounds like your problem is not being not white, its being poor.
