My company was acquired a few years ago so I’m fully vested. I’m only still here because I’m remote and I only have to work a few hours a week for a generous salary. At the same time I feel guilty for taking advantage of this and being complacent.

So shift your mindset & be grateful for where you've gotten.

Lots of us would kill to be where u are!

get off your butt & get on to the next awesome thing, whether it be focusing on your family, volunteering, angel investing or starting a new biz. You worked hard, you took a break, now c'mon, get going on your next adventure...and the guilt will dissipate !

GOOD FOR YOU. Now go find something that DOESN'T MAKE YOU FEEL COMPLACENT. Even if it's time with your family, or time trying to find a way to fix one of the many, many, many broken things on this planet. There's plenty of great ways to feel productive again:)

Don't feel bad because it is way better than being broke and struggling. Counts your blessings and enjoy your life. Have a little fun for me to.

They made a movie about this, it's called Scarface.

Seriously dude. If you feel "complacent" get a volunteering position, or do something that actually matters (as opposed to pretending that cell phone apps matter) or a new hobby, or something.
