Way to leave us hanging. Why don't you explain your situation further so that we can actually provide useful responses.

Seriously Dana, why was this confession approved? Zero detail making any reaction or input impossible.

I hear you, however some confessions don't necessarily need input or reaction. They're simply a way to get something off your chest. It's possible that this person just needed to say it out loud.

Seems foolish. Pivots are a normal part of early startups.

Startups are about uncertainty. You're not prepared to be in the league of startups my dear friend.

AAnonymous· May 23, 2014

Startups are about uncertainty (of industry, etc) and flexibility. The accelerator that should be doing all to support you should be the last place to expect rigidity.

Not really. Accelerators are just another investment vehicle. If whatever they're doing is enough to "fuck you over" you should'a had a backup plan. Either way, out of context we really don't know if this founder's statement has any merit.

I've also had a pretty bad experience with an accelerator, but I'd say my team had an equal responsibility in everything that went awry.

Original Founder here: They were being inflexible about a couple of (meaningless) stupid terms in the loan note they gave us, "real" investors wouldn't go for the round till it was sorted.

We fixed the problem by walking away starting a new company and taking investment that way - if need be we'll see the accelerator in court.
